AW21 Collection – launches 5th September 2021

Our latest collection launches tomorrow, and we are SO excited! After a year’s wait we have 25 new Flat Sari Scarves in an array of gorgeous colours – don’t forget to check the Sari Scarves section as well as heading over to the fabulous New Season….

We’re also delighted to introduce two new faces to the website, the stunning Lucy, who joined me for the AW21 photoshoot. It was so much fun, and she’s a natural, thank you Lucy! And the incredible Beky, who is our pattern cutter and also looks amazing in a headscarf, find her in the Limited Edition section (she truly is a limited edition, you marvellous person, you!).

Pashminas

Autumn is well and truly on its way, and that means it’s pashmina season! We have 3 brand new designs, and one restock in a new colour as well as old favourites

Efflorescent

This open weave pashmina style scarf is blooming with a classic floral design in lengthways stripes making it perfect for layering on cold autumn and winter mornings. Soft, snuggly, warm, and versatile, what more could you want from a pashmina?

Resplendence

Lucy looks resplendent in this soft touch, vibrant pashmina style scarf. It’s a medium weight pashmina making it great for autumn through spring, and the deep red background features a bold lily design in soft gold-brown.

Dark Forest

This stunning cotton blend reversible pashmina features a haunting tree design. With a beautiful soft sheen, it’s so easy to wrap, and relatively lightweight too. Comes in rich chocolate brown, or charcoal black.

No Ordinary Love

Our first cotton blend pashmina from AW20, this has been lovingly restocked in the original bold deep purple & cerise and soft pink and silver. This month we introduce the stunning jade and soft gold!

Lightweight Scarves

This season, we’ve gone light on the pashminas, and heavy on the lightweights! We’re delighted to bring you a range of Organic Cotton scarves by Cornish brand Hazel & Pip, which have strong environmental and ethical benefits, and at a price point that will make you smile. Some are exclusive designs made under licence from RSPB Sales Ltd, meaning the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has received a generous donation from our supplier for stocking these products, which are GOTS certified organic cotton.

Autumn Calling

This fun floral design on dusky pink cheerfully carries us through the remnants of summer, and yet is also muted enough to call us into the cosiness of autumn.

Forest Flower

Line drawn florals and dragonflies invoke images of a country garden at dusk, on a muted laurel green background.

Enchanting

A delicate floral design on a strong navy blue background, this scarf evokes images of an enchanted garden in the twilight.

Organic Cotton Florals

Meadow Sixty

Vibrant jade organic cotton splashed with a fun 1960s inspired floral design

Tropical Arbor

Vivacious royal purple hosts bright splashes of tropical blooms. This joyful scarf is a lovely narrow 50cm, plenty wide enough to wrap, but without any extra fabric

Rest A While

A striking pastel floral design rests on a dark navy background: this narrow, lightweight scarf is calming and elegant.

Halcyon Days

Romantic florals on a cool turqoise background grace this ultra lightweight narrow scarf

Mills and Bloom

Roses represent timeless romance, and these beautiful shades of pink really beam against the burgundy background. We couldn’t resist the name!

More Lightweight Designs!

Dragonfly Lake

We love our grey scarves at Harmony Headwraps and this one is no exception! Golden foil dragonflies dance across the surface of the woven chequered ‘lake’ of this soft cotton blend scarf.

Cool Mirage

Dark teal and chocolate browns in intricate paisley dersigns

Sylvan Skyline

Another romantic floral, this time in soft greys, with butterflies and dragonflies waltzing past

Hopeful Heart

When we found more fabric for this AW20 textured jersey, we knew we had to bring it back! This scarf is a muted magenta treat, with its subtle textured pattern and a gentle stretch.

Onyx Princess Jersey

Sister scarf to our amazing Marble Galaxy, this handmade Harmony Headwraps jersey scarf is another stunning marbled print, this time based on the unique Persian Blue onyx marble.

Just like the Marble Galaxy, the fabric is Okeo-Tex certified cotton, with 5% elastane for stretch and drape, and is designed in the UK by a family business, we are delighted to be able to bring you this scarf in exclusive designer fabric at an amazing price!

Sorry Not Sari Midi-XL Jersey Scarf

Matching fabric to our new sinar tichel, we have a limited number of rectangular jersey scarves in a small XL size, 230cm long by 60cm (standard Harmony Headwraps jerseys are 200cm, and standard XLs are 300cm).

This fabric was a wondeful jigsaw! With the pattern running down the width not the length, we had to get creative to turn this amazing sari-like pattern to run lengthways. There’s a discreet seam about 1/3 of the way along this scarf, but you’d never notice!

Disco Scarves! – Purple

Our ever-popular disco scarves are back in an amazing purple! These are slinky polyester foiled jersey and are dazzlingly impressive! This fabric is slightly slippery so it needs a firm hand but seasoned wrappers will definitely show this scarf who’s boss!

Slinky XL Jersey – Sunset

These scarves are extra long, giving you even more wrapping options than before!

It’s a slightly slinky fabric, tactile not slippery, with a wonderful sheen in a deep coral sunset colour. Looking for something a bit darker? The same fabric is available in Terracotta Spice.

Slinky XL Jersey – Gold Disco

Our ultra XL scarves know how to make a statement! These scarves are extra long, giving you even more wrapping options than before. This is a rich gold sparkle effect on a black jersey background, perfect for a glamourous look or bringing sunshine to any day.

Floral Calm XL Slinky Jersey

This soft, slinky fabric is such a hit! This XL scarf is 3m of gorgeous lilac goodness with contrasting bright, splashy florals.

Hats and a Mystery Box!

With a new supplier came more product options and this season we found a lovely snuggly beanie in a chunky knit, perfect for snuggly autumn and winter, and days where you want a quick alternative to wrapping. Look out for our Everyday Beanie in warm plum or cosy charcoal.Our

Our collaboration boxes with the talented Artisinat Creations have been a huge hit, and I’m excited to introduce our first solo one, which is a semi-mystery, and a chance to get a 2 metre sash in some of the same fabrics as our Limited Edition handmade jersey scarves. including the elusive purple  Sorry not Sari scarf, which in AW20 sold out in about 12 minutes, and I’ve never been able to find the fabric again!

You will get an exclusive ribbed viscose jersey scarf, which is lightweight with an amazing drape, with a hand selected Harmony Headwraps original sash.

There are 5 different colours of jersey scarf: dusky pink, dusky purple, silver, grey, and chocolate.

There are many different sash designs including Floral Calm (pictured on silver jersey), Retro Slinky, Disco Scarves in a variety of colours, and of course, Sorry not Sari in purple.

~~~
Phew! It’s only when I list it like this that I realise what a chonk of a collection this is! I was only going to do a handful of new bits….! I love putting together new collections, trying to choose something for everyone, or trying new ideas, and especially pushing the boundaries with the fabrics I choose for my limited edition scarves. Disco Scarves were introduced on a whim and I honestly thought they’d be a fun novelty but they are clearly here to stay as you can’t get enough of them!
Gwen’s Choice
And because I know enquiring minds want to know – which scarves has Gwen kept for herself this season? Believe it or not, my own scarf collection isn’t enormous (I think I’d need a bigger house if I kept one of everything we’d ever sold!), and I tend to only pick a handful from each new collection. So which ones made the cut for AW21?
Dark Forest – Black
As soon as I got this out the packet, I fell in love. I’ll always be a goth at heart and I’m all about spooky season, and this scarf was just made for me!
Slinky XL Jersey – Gold Disco
I don’t do gold. I’ve never liked gold. Maybe it’s something about getting older, but it’s finally growing on me, and I adored this so much I’ve kept one. Now I just need to really learn how to wrap an XL scarf because if you look at the product photos, I just do an extended regal wrap with them because I haven’t a clue! I really do love the Floral Calm, too, but there aren’t enough of them to go round so I’m going to be good and let you all have them!
Everyday Beanie
I love hats, always have! And I’ve needed a new one for about 2 winters if not more, so I’ve kept a charcoal one. Though I’m really trying to introduce more colour to my wardrobe (yes, it’s mostly black) I might need a plum one, too…
Thanks for being amazing #HarmonyFamily and see you soon! Let me know in the comments what you’re most excited about!
